The Squibo app collects no data. None. There is no account, no login, no analytics, no tracking, and no server. Everything you do in Squibo — your timers, routines, tasks, and acorn collection — is stored only on your device.
This website (squibo.app) is a separate matter: it uses basic visit analytics and an optional email waitlist, described below.
We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data through the Squibo app. The app's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."
Squibo saves your settings, timers, routines, and progress locally on your iPhone. This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Purchase state is validated on-device. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings.
The Squibo app works fully offline and does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. RevenueCat is used solely to manage subscription entitlements; it processes anonymous purchase receipts and no personal identity data.
squibo.app (the website, not the app) uses Google Analytics to understand overall visit numbers and where visitors come from. Google Analytics may set cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser, and device type, processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. We use this only in aggregate to improve the site; we don't use it for advertising. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser — the site works fine without them.
Squibo is now live, so the site no longer collects waitlist emails. If you joined the pre-launch waitlist, the address you submitted (processed by Netlify, our hosting provider) was stored for one purpose only: a single launch announcement. We don't share or sell it, and we don't add you to a newsletter. To have your address deleted at any time, email us at squiboapp@gmail.com.
The Squibo app collects no data from anyone, including children. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new date.
